The second In-person ETS Collaborative was held in Orlando, FL and facilitated by SACE and SSDN. Topics included: ET market landscape, federal funding updates, working with utilities, best practices and partnerships.

Day 1

Session 1: Market Landscape Conversation
A discussion of market indicators including sales, charging deployment, investments, and funding.
Session 2: Federal Funding Landscape
A conversation with Amy Turner from the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, Columbia Law School. Then a discussion to identify the topics most interesting to explore together moving forward.

Session 3: Beyond BIL and IRA: Developing a Path Forward
An examination of projects that were awarded funding on what precursors, relationships, and structures were built to secure a winning application.
Day 2

Session 1: Leveraging Tools for Success
A conversation about building a successful team and resources to build an electric vehicle plan including the EVI-LOCATE tool to identify locations and estimate costs for EV charging stations.
Session 2: Strategy and Best Practices Exchange
A whole room discussion on policies and actions that have resulted in successful electric transportation implementation.
Session 3: Working with Utilities: Policy and Program Conversations
A discussion on offerings from utilities that local governments can tap into as well as a conversation on how to engage directly with utilities to achieve greater outcomes.
Session 4: Partnerships for Advancing Success
A table discussion and share out on key components of and examples of successful partnerships to advance electric transportation.
