WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

4 DIFFERENT TYPES OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES

A pure "battery electric vehicle" (BEV or EV) means that the vehicle is powered entirely by electricity and there is no place to put gasoline in the vehicle.  Therefore, they emit zero tailpipe emissions.  They are very fuel efficient with most models getting over 100 MPGe.  They are all eligible for a Federal tax credit.
